When war broke out in Ukraine we were asked to assist with the evacuation of orphaned children from Dnipro. We brought them across the border to Poland and flew them to London on a Virgin Atlantic Plane.

In April we returned to the region to bring a further 167 women and children to safety. The mission included a 22 hour train journey across Ukraine.
 
In September we were asked to help a group of 24 visually impaired children and their families who were in need of specialist treatment. We brought them to Moldova by road and from there they were flown to Germany.
